Ellen Pittman, age 88, of Hollywood passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Pittman survived by her husband Loyall E. Pittman; her five sons Terry Wayne Pittman, David Lee Pittman, Mark Allen (Sherry) Pittman, Steven (Linda) Pittman, and Jeffery Loyall (Crissey) Pittman; grandchildren, Frances, James, and Janie Goolsby, Jason, TJ, Jeremy, Chase, Courtney and Joshua; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, Ella Marie Prince and one great great grandson, Easton James Goolsby; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Ethel Lorene Simpson; son, Ronnie Orval PIttman; her only daughter, Barbara Ellen Goolsby Matthews; granddaughter, Lisa Marie Pittman; and her great grandson, Jackson Willis Goolsby.
Mrs. Pittman was born in Fabens, TX where she was an honorary Texas Ranger.
