Scottsboro City Council, Place 1 incumbent Ralph Dawe has announced his intent to seek re-election.
Dawe said, “I am committed to continuing the progress made over the past 4 years. I will continue to help ensure responsible tax dollar allocations are made for the betterment of our city, its citizens and visitors.”

Dawe was elected to Place 1 in August 2020. Prior to being elected, he served the Scottsboro Police Department for 31 years.
